Main features
- Non-Sticky Semi-Dry Lubrication
- Tested Plastic-Contact Compatibility
- Low-Friction Sliding Performance
Product Description
MOLYKOTE L-8030 Lubricant is a liquid PFPE/PTFE semi-dry lubricant dispersed in fluorinated solvent for plastic, rubber, and metal sliding contacts. After brush or dip application, the carrier leaves a semi-translucent, non-sticky thin film. Typical properties include a -65 to 150 deg C temperature range, specific gravity of 1.54, and 2.43% nonvolatile content. In testing, the lubricant had no effect on POM, PS, or ABS, and coefficients of friction were 0.06 for POM versus steel and 0.15 for steel versus steel. Applications include cameras, audio-visual equipment, precision appliances, printers, copiers, and fax machines.
