Main features

  • 18 to 24 Minute Work Time
  • 48 to 72 Minute Handling
  • -40 to 300 deg F Range

Product Description

LORD Maxlok T18S Acrylic Adhesive is a two-component structural acrylic adhesive used with LORD Maxlok MX accelerator for bonding supported metals and composites. Its off-white to tan paste formulation is part of the Maxlok S-series designed as an alternative to welding, brazing, riveting and other mechanical fastening methods in assemblies exposed to high impact or peel loads. T18S provides 18 to 24 minutes of working time and reaches handling strength in 48 to 72 minutes at 77 deg F (25 deg C). The non-sag system supports cartridge or automatic dispensing and has a service-temperature range of -40 deg F to 300 deg F (-40 deg C to 149 deg C).

Key features

  • Extended T18S work time: Provides 18 to 24 minutes for part placement at 77 deg F (25 deg C).
  • Non-sag structural placement: Remains positioned on vertical or overhead surfaces during supported metal and composite bonding.
  • Broad service-temperature range: Has a service-temperature range of -40 deg F to 300 deg F (-40 deg C to 149 deg C) for the supported applications.

Applications

Applications include structural bonding of supported metals and composites as an alternative to selected mechanical fastening methods.
