  • Low-Density Epoxy System
  • Automated Dispensing Capability

Product Description

LOCTITE EA 9824 FST AERO is a one-component epoxy potting compound developed for aircraft interior applications where stringent flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) requirements apply. This heat-cured, low-density adhesive is formulated with halogen-free flame retardants and supports both manual and automated dispensing processes. The material is suitable for edge sealing and honeycomb reinforcement applications in aviation assemblies. With a density of 0.75 g/cm³, reliable dispensing characteristics, and documented mechanical performance after cure, it provides a practical solution for lightweight interior aerospace structures requiring FST-compliant materials.

Key features

  • FST-compliant formulation: Meets demanding flame, smoke, and toxicity requirements for aircraft interior applications.
  • Low-density epoxy system: Density of 0.75 g/cm³ supports weight-sensitive aerospace assemblies.
  • Automated dispensing capability: One-component paste suitable for both manual and automated dispensing operations.

Applications / Suitable for
