Product Description
CONAPOXY FR-1046 is the black, mineral-filled resin component for two-component flame-retardant epoxy potting systems. Typical resin viscosity is 17,000 cP and specific gravity is 1.6 at 25 deg C. The resin can be combined with several CONACURE hardeners to vary mixed viscosity, gel time, flexibility, and cure behavior. Processing methods include hand mixing, meter mixing, and vacuum potting for electrical and electronic devices. Applications include modules, transformers, coils, and strain-sensitive components. Final cured properties depend on the selected hardener and cure conditions and describe the complete mixed system rather than the resin component alone.
